privacy policy

every15min for iOS · effective 2026-08-16

the short version

every15min collects no data. Everything you write stays on your device.

data storage

Your entries, photos, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone. The app makes no network requests: there is no server, no account, no sync service operated by us, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.

export and import

You can export your log as a JSON file at any time, optionally encrypted with a passphrase (PBKDF2 + AES-GCM 256). Export files are created on your device and shared only where you choose to send them. Import reads files you select and merges them locally.

photos

If you attach photos to entries, the app accesses only the photos you explicitly pick, and stores them inside the app's local database. They are never uploaded anywhere.

what we can see

Nothing. We have no way to read, receive, or recover your data. If you delete the app, its local data is deleted with it — keep an export if you want a backup.

changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this page with an updated effective date.
